The next couple hours looked pretty much like that. Except it got flatter.

Took my Alternate and myself 3 1/2 days to go 1000 miles. We didn't push it, and there's only so many places to sleep over so you plan your trip around camps and fuel, not how fast you drive.

All in all, I loved the trip!! The road's much better in the winter then the summer. Always wanted to do the trip, and well.... I got paid to do it this way!

After seeing some great pics in this thread, I clearly need to get off the pavement. Here's my contribution...

heres my 2000 highlander. searched for about 5 months for a ijm or thundercloud runner and finally found one that wasn't priced up the ying yang out in denver. flew out and mobbed it home in a day and a half. spent the last couple months going over the usual suspects and lifting it. scored a sweet deal on some scs rims then bit the bullet and got a set of 33s during black friday week. pretty much how i want it now, i've got a first gen with a 3.4 that i get into trouble with so this one will stay like this till I get bored and throw more money at it.

What is mfg name for the color of the vehicle? Not the white one...
