Just finished installing a 2" body lift in this pic, very easy to do if anyone's thought about doing it.

Going to try and raise the step bars and hitch to look normal tomorrow.

Love you’re truck man! It’s lookin awesome. One question out of curiosity...are you planning on upgrading your wheels to the newer TRD OR wheels with the black accents? I think those would look even better with your 4Runner being black.

Previous owner spilled coffee under the seat.




Not perfect, but much better. Also took out the 6 disc changer...





I went over most of the dash with the brush and rag method.



Also got some pocket parts from the junkyard so I declared my "4runner" drawer.

What’s the best way to REMOVE COFFEE STAINS or rust from
Carpet. Asking for a friend.

I use Griot's interior cleaner on EVERYTHING in my cars, and it works great.
However to fully get out the stain I would have needed a steam vacuum.

My method for a quick clean is to spray the cleaner in an area no larger than a sq-ft, brush it with a toilet bowl cleaner brush (a clean one), and pat it dry with an absorbent towel.

Repeat until satisfied.

As for the rust, I assume the same method would work fairly well, however I would consider checking if the rush has moved to the body.
If so either coat with WD-40 to prevent further rust, Or hit it with Rustoleum.

I use Iron Out for removing rust stains on all kinds of stuff, works great.

why not a cheap spacer lift instead of a body lift that leaves silly gaps everywhere? Or step down a tire size?

Thanks man. No plans to change wheels, I actually prefer the gunmetal accents on the older ones like mine to the newer black ones. If I do change wheels I'd probably go to an SCS F5 or something like that, but I doubt I'll do that. I really like these wheels and I'm not worried about scratching them up since they're easy to get.

2003 4runner help!

Hi Guys,

I need some help! We recently bought a 2003 4runner limited V8, with air suspension. On a road trip, we had some major issues with the rear end (see pictures). Long story short, I need a new air suspension and control arm(name?) mounting bracket. Any idea where a part like that can be found? I would prefer not having to replace the entire rear axle/diff housing with just the bracket failing, but maybe that's my only option. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You're posting in the 3rd gen section, post over in the 4th gen section for a 2003 where guys with those yr rigs can help you. Good luck on the repair, Looks like scalping the piece off a scrapped rig and a little welding can repair it.

Doesn't quite look like much...yet. I just got this totally cool super rad 4Runner a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! 1998 SR5 4X4 with the 3.4L engine and manual transmission. It also has a sunroof and the factory rear locker. Many adventures to be had in this for sure!

Because its mine and that's what I wanted? lol.. It has a 3" suspension lift as well. I can make something to cover the gaps

It's stock in these pictures but so far I've painted the wheels and soon I'm gonna get tires. Also found a 3 inch lift kit at the junkyard I'll put in it soon too. Just turned 17 today.
