Just picked up a 2000 Limited w/ eLocker and already doing things. About ~210k on the clock and in pretty great condition. I've replaced the power antenna with a Taco whip base, replaced the head unit (carplay!), and fixed the janky climate controls. And I have a big list of other things to get around to.

This seems like the right place for a 3rd gen onesie. The way these rigs run, I hope it is his first car when he is 16.

Glad I didn’t buy a 2nd gen.
After searching for months, found this one. 1997 SR5 4x4. Her name is Dolores for all the pain she has caused me lol. She needs a lot of work but will be soon an adventure rig. Also picked up these 5 spoke wheels in the process.

New owner - 2001 SR5 2WD
I’m a new forum member with a new to me 2001 SR5 2WD auto. 143k on the odometer. It was a dealer owned vehicle (never titled) until 2003. It was owned by a husband (died in 2006) and wife until I became the second owner almost a month ago. The previous owner bought a new Highlander to replace the T4R. She left the T4R in the garage (one car) until it sold. She left the new Highlander in the driveway. Priorities :rockon:
Extensive service history, all documented and performed at Toyota of Glendale. It was almost purchased from a “little old lady from Pasadena”, but she was from about 20 miles east. :lmao:
I did an extensive pre purchase inspection using the information from the sticky. Not an ounce of rust anywhere. Timing belt and WP done at 90k. No records on LBJ’s or radiator, so they’re on the to do list. Just watched the appropriate mbtim videos.
She runs and looks great. Has a little more play in the steering wheel than I’d like, so I’m researching my options. Outer tie rods seem tight, rack bushings and steering shaft play are high on the list.
