3rd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Bought this 4runner a while back, and am now beginning to modify and install some things, recently i got bogged out in mud... ended up snapping off my skid guard when i got pulled out. after that i bought 32" mud terrain tires (yokohama G003 M/T) on Fuel Shok D666 17" with -12 offset! And boy are they good!!!

-also just recently did the good ole Tundra Big brake upgrade.

it was obvious you were not going to be able to drive through that mud. Why even try? That kind of mud is hell on a vehicle.

That's a really cool shot! They used to put together a calendar each year on this forum with a different member photo for each month. If they were still doing that I would quickly nominate that photo.

While I'm here... still playing in the white stuff in late May.

Explored some of the Nebraska sandhills this weekend with a couple of 5th gen guys. Pictures don't do the scenery justice out there. Had lots of fun getting to play around with radios, hooning in the sand and checking out those 5th gens. We randomly met another guy in a 1st gen Tundra totally kitted out for overlanding and he tagged along with us for some of it. I got a huge kick out of this Toyota convoy, I'm such a geek for this stuff.

He was running Bilstein 6112 front like me and 5160 rears. I've got 5100 Tundra rears, didn't even know they made 1st gen Tundra 5160s. Should be a good fit swapped over to 3rd gen lower bushings. He was singing their praises so I'll either get those or FJ Cruiser 5160s next time. He also really liked his Cooper ST Max in 235.

My brake lights burnt out and didnt have spares so had a hell of a time finding some to drive home safe. Everywhere was closed on Sundays and half of the gas stations and stores aren't on google maps. A guy in Broken Bow pointed me to a farm supply where I found some. Broken Bow is a nice little town, super friendly people and they have the Kincaider brewery out there.

There is some golden ratio thing going on here because this looks perfecto to me. Does it have a body lift?
