1997 black limited

Picked up my neighbours 97 limited with 183k kms. So far I’ve polished it, changed the rims to the new trail rims, changed the Dunlops to Toyos, put in a double din head unit and pulled off the running boards. I have the parts for Bilstein and OMEs For a small lift. Going to do most of the maintenance over the next few months.

first post

Hey all – this is my first post after a solid nine years of pretty regular reading. Here's my 2000 5-speed on Sedona's Broken Arrow Trail from earlier this afternoon. It's my second 3rd gen. The original, low-mileage 2002 I had was 2wd but got me hooked. Spent a long time looking for a manual 4x4 and really happy to finally be getting out to some awesome destinations in it. Lots of plans in mind for it.

Took her out for a little spin around town. Had to clean the maf and throttle body because it had been running like crap. Also had to put some new Redline MT-90 in it.

Drives like a champ now.

Thought I'd share this sweet campsite with everyone. About half an hour through a maze of logging roads, and a windy decent into a river gorge, you end up at Queets Campground in WA. Bring a fly-rod...
