New 2001 Limited

Picked up this 2001 Limited (143k) last weekend. My first 4Runner. Always wanted one growing up back in Ireland (as the Hilux Surf).

Looking forward to taking this for a few trips now!

Thanks! I think the chrome grill and bumper on the early 3rd gens still has that old school Toyota truck look. Not a huge fan of the fat lips.

2002 Desert Tan Military 4runner



Removed 'fat-lip' front bumper and side flares. Fabricated 2 piece front bumper and roof rack. Scuff and sprayed epoxy primer and top coated with a CARC Desert Tan substitute. Bought new factory steel rims with extra tall Sumitomo tires.

(New to me) 1999 SR5. bone stock atm, but I have plans for a small lift and maybe adding a rear locker (it seems like I have 4.3 gears, so hopefully it would be an easy swap). 120,000 km (Canada)

Yeah....as soon as I can figure out how to share a large number of images. I documented everything pretty well.

Definitely seeing that AOR bumper and FN 5 Stars a lot here and on the Gram. Looking to get them in gunmetal for the Thundercloud Metallic paint.
