sorry if this has been asked already, but what is your headlight setup? i've got my 99 in metallic silver, looks like yours as well, and the OG ones are in need of replacement.

I would but 2 of them. I wonder how many Toyota would sell if they did a retro release like that. They did it with Land Cruiser a while ago to mark the anniversary I believe. There are so many high school kids and hipsters who tentatively ask me about my 3rd gen, even without knowing what it is. It's an aesthetic/aura that still appeals to many people.

I've thought about that too. The only reason we don't see those heritage Land Cruiser models is because they are 100k, they are really only going to a select audience. But yeah, if I could get a retro style body on a 4runner with a rear locker I'd definitely pay 40-50k.

5th gen wheels really do look great on these trucks. Here's my new (to me) setup.

17x7 5th gen wheels. 265/65r17 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires. I'd like bigger tires but I'll take a deal when I find it.

Love it. Picking up the same rims tomorrow.
