Starting Friday afternoon, I drove from the Seattle area to the Denver area. Not sure of the actual weight but I'm guessing 400+ pounds in the cargo area and 50-100 on the rear carrier. Up and over all the mountain passes running AC occasionally and probably averaging 80mph I netted about 18 mpg. Not bad for the old truck... just wish I had a better seat, lol.

May be time for a suspension refresh. The springs popped back to life once it was unloaded but I just feel bad for the old girl.

While my IS250 is getting repaired I’ve feel in love with this 4Runner. Lift and tires next to have some real fun. Still new to the off road scene but I’m loving it.

Mettowee Off Road park in Upstate NY.

Decent park, but lots of mud and more ATV friendly. But it was fun to compare my brothers stock '99 with a rear locker to my lifted '00 without a locker. Both 5spds. The tires actually made the largest difference followed by the lift when the mud got deep. Hes running a more mild 265/75/16 A/T whereas I have M/Ts in the same size.

What HID setup is this and what halo option? How is it wired up? I’m about to pull the trigger on an HID retrofit and can’t decide if I want halos. These look sweet though!

Just got this a year ago. 95k on it and having some ticking issues Master tech at toyota says nothing to worry about after hes checked everything. hopefully hes right
