Nice looking setup, I'm in awe of all your camping gear! So cool, I need to drag my stuff out and do an inventory so I can make sure we're ready to go soon.

I noticed your hi-lift jack in there -- where are you planning to lift the vehicle with that if needed? That thing is likely to rip off the stock bumpers and side steps. Do you have bumpers and rock sliders coming?

My 3rd Gen with 33” retrofit rear e-locker and front Eaton e-locker regeared 4.88

Really digging the front grille with Raptor lights as well as the heritage stripes. Been looking for someone who put them where you did and they look as cool as I thought they would. Well done.

Two comments:

1. Hell yes to the white lettering -- it's awesome, I'm planning to do that with my next set of tires.

2. Amazing looking truck, love the 2-tone color -- so classic!

New guy here with my newly acquired 1999 2.7L 2WD. She’s in good shape and will be replacing my 2006 Suburban that’s getting tired. This 4Runner has 181000 miles on it, and the records of maintenance go back to 2010. I’m hoping I can ride this girl out to at least 300K miles. I don’t like car payments so I decided on reliability!

no good photos of my '97 5sp, factory locker, 4Runner lately, but here are some from the summer. During the summer it gets a wash, clay bar and wax nearly every week, this is my daily and I love it to bits, it is way more reliable than my weekend toy

Picked up this ‘02 SR5 2wd a week ago and stopped running so just got it back from Toyota running and purring beautifully. Today I put on struts for the rear hatch. Flawless

Cool! I was headed to Big Bear last Sept for an event at Snow Summit but it was cancelled due to wildfires. I'll get there one day. What can you tell me about that swing-out tire carrier?

Ya, its pretty fun up there. I discovered that skiing is not my thing haha.

As a lifelong skateboarder, I figured snowboarding would come easy. Yeah, NO. You gotta grow up in that stuff. That was decades ago - I'm 'OK' now, but the learning curve is painful. For me anyway.

Good job on the custom carrier!

Being that I was born and raised in HI, Surfing and Skateboarding was the 2 things that came hand in hand. Being doing both at the age of 3. Come from a surfing family that competed professionally from my unkos to my cousins as myself. When I moved to WA in 08 we transitioned to the mountain and snowboarding was out go to. We also Surfed at Westport threw out the year in wetsuit (sucks wearing a wetsuit). Standing on the board was easy, the turning part was hard. Surfing/Skateboarding we use our rear leg to turn and Snowboarding is the opposite. It only took a day of wipeouts to get used to the turning. My now 12 year old that was born here in WA, never stepped on a board in his life, but went down the bunny slope hill at 3. He did very good on his fist day and now he comes on the black diamonds with us every time.
