As training for an employee to learn how to install/rivnut track into sheetmetal, I offered up my hood.
We were playing with the hood netting concept from the old Camel Trophy LRs as the justification.
So I have some shock cord netting that I spread over the hood that I've tucked all kinds of dumb stuff into, like snap-straps & wet MTB clothing.
Works a treat, and combined with the bumper-mounted water bottle cage, is always a good conversation starter! (photoshop vanity plate not included)

Finally upgraded from my crappy Walmart tires. Brand new 265/75R16 KO2s. So far they’re great. I thought they may look a bit smaller with my lift but I think they fill up the wheel well nicely.

Fish creek isnt too bad except for the washboards, Sandstone canyon was blocked off on the bypass part through the rocks due to the other side being washed out leaving a 3-4 feet cliff.

For our first day trip with the new (to us) 4runner, we took a dirt road through central Texas. Visited an old cemetery, crossed some rivers, and did some rockhounding. Was great!
