Solo XLT kit, but everything is getting tied into the roll cage and engine cage. Next is to mock up how to get the bump to tie into the engine cage to bump off the UCA

I instantly recognized that, Hwy 128 just before Onion Creek. Possibly my favorite paved road in the country. Lots of good trails along Hwy 128.

Do you have more info & pics of your rear tire carrier? Assuming it's custom?
yup! I didn't want to go with a full bumper just yet as I'm not too sold on the bulky look of some and didn't want to go for a super high clearance look either so I designed this with the help of [MENTION=42177]Offroad[/MENTION]Grind on youtube this bolt on bumper/tire carrier.
We were able to retain those rear side panels to keep the truck's body lines the same. still have pretty great clearance for the offroading that i do and didn't add too much weight to the rear end. I'm running OME 890s in the back and no sagging yet, but do plan to get a bit heavier spring in the future.

Looks great. Similar situation in that I need a way to carry a spare (35) but haven't come across an aftermarket rear bumper with a swingout carrier that I like enough to purchase. The ones available that I thought were ok were 4xinnovations but don't like the bulkiness when looking at it from the rear. The other one was nguyen works but it's a little too high clearance to flow well with my factory front bumper. I also don't think nguyen works has a trailer hitch. I was trying to figure out a way to blend what I liked about 4xinnovations & nguyen works until I saw yours. I sent you a PM.
I replied but it doesn't show that I did! lmk if you get it

my glacially paced work in progress. bought the truck march of 2019 and have been slowly replacing as much as possible. Was a Virginia car for the first 18 or so years of its life and has been in the southern calfirnia desert with me since I moved back here shortly after I bought it. Thats really it. Want to start an also glacially paced build thread soon enough
