Such a smart, clean build and I'm glad to see some of the old guard

Just picked up my 98 a few weeks ago.
Looking at aftermarket bumpers front and rear. Any recommendations for a front winch bumper would be appreciated. Gonna have lots of fun with this one.

New to the forum but it’s already been a ton of help. Picked this guy up this summer. 1997 v6 5 speed with locker and only 70k miles. Been baselining and catching up on maintenance. Last weekend I replaced the spacer lift with OME and TC UCAs. More to come.

What a beauty. Can you post the suspension buildout?

Hello everyone, new member here.

Greetings from British Columbia, Canada.

First time vehicle owner... I picked up a Black 97 4runner Limited w/ rear locker about a month ago.

So far I've replaced the battery, fuel filter, lower ball joints, and steering rack bushings. Did an engine oil flush/change. Grinding away at the surface rust underneath, por 15 pre treat, por 15 paint, and fluid film.

Got a shop to do the right front wheel bearing as I was told it needed to be done after a full inspection. Beyond my abilities, space, and available tools/equipment.

Next up: power steering flush, brake bleed with bleeder screw replacement, upgrade to 99-02 headlights + wiring harness upgrade to run Hella 100/80w bulbs (this is the reason for me creating my account).

If anyone is running ANZO USA 99-02 headlights let me know! Couldn't find much feedback about them anywhere.

looks nice. I am not familiar with the anzo lights, most things I have read is TYC is the one to get ( if not oem)

4Runner Build

My 4runner; was built for long-distance travel and living.

Picked up this 99 Limited a couple weeks ago. First projects this weekend will be a new OEM suspension install from 1aauto, a tune up and oxygen sensors.

This 4Runner was originally purchased in New York so it does have some ugly surface rust mostly on the rear diff and cross member but I’ve got through with a wire brush and plan on treating it with black fluid film this weekend.

what sized tires and how much lift? looks perfect
