3rd Row, Finally!

when we bought the 2004 couple years ago, it was "3rd Row Seat Ready" but, no seat, also because of that, there's no cargo cover in the back either. it's kinda bothers me all the time, but I don't want to spend 800 bucks on a pair of seats, or $100 on a cover just to fill the back.

after 2 years, finally I saw a pair of Lexus GX470 leather 3rd row seats on CL, took my chances told the seller I'll take them no matter what. turns out, they are perfect fit.:girl:

man thats good to know. i was always wondering what the hell that was when i popped off those covers. i am 3rd seat ready but of course it didnt come with a 3rd seat. but i actually took my seatbelts out in the rear. still have them just in case, doubt ill ever need em tho.

and i agree with the no cover. very irritating.

in all seriousness, very rad that it worked out. they look good too.

That looks like the 3rd row in My 2004. Mine had the seats in it when I bought it. I wonder if the Lexus will work if Land cruiser 3rd rows are the same to. They mount closer to the floor instead of on top of wheel well.

I had read on here that the 3rd row seats are real heavy and people remove to save weight for gas milage.
Anyone know how much they weight??

they are not heavy, probably 20# each.

I noticed the difference between the stock 4Runner 3rd row seats in this thread and the GX470 seats I got.

So no mods were done to fit them on the 4th gen. 4runner???
