3vze winter start. Half fixed, need help

Hi guys
Went to drive the 4runner yesterday and the engine would crank over but not fire.
Checked for a spark and ot was there. Checked my fuel,no luck.
For now I've run a live from the battery to the fuel pump, this has fixed it and I can start and drive the car but obviously not a permanent fix.
I'm guessing it's my fuel pump relay, but upon further inspection, it's missing. Please see the pic I've attached.
Anybody have any idea where else it could be located?

And I know my efi fuse is missing. Somebody tried helping me on the roadside yesterday and ended up popping about 5 fuses. So again. Just a quick fix to get me to the next town.
(I'm currently in the outback of Australia so yeah.... Haha)

So someone jumpered the EFI fuse. I can't tell if the fuel pump relay is jumpered as well from your picture. I'd look at the fuel line and see if someone put in an aftermarket fuel pump and put in a separate relay and fuse somewhere. Can you follow the wires to see where they go?

Wow.

That's just a disaster waiting to happen there! Of all the things I would want to protect in the vehicle with a fuse, the fuel injection would be one of the top 3!

Get a fuse in there asap! Considering that someone's screwed with the wiring and removed or relocated the relay for the pump, I'd be very worried about that pump burning up inside a tank of fuel!

As I said I'm in the outback of Australia so had to do whatever I could to get me to the next town. About 400km from where I was!!
The fuel pump relay isn't jumped it's just not there. I'll put a better pic up now.
There is no plug or wiring I can chase, was wondering if they sometimes put them somewhere else?
If not I really have no idea how to find it to out a new one in there.

As far as I can tell it's the OE fuel pump.
When I hard wired it I used the access panel under the back seats so it is still the pump in the tank I think
