4:10 verses 4:30

Singtoe, I don't think you'll like 4.10 in the front and 4.30 in the rear, if that's what you're considering. If you're going to go to the locker, it's worth it IMO to swap the front diff to match the 4.30 or regear the elocker third to match your existing 4.10.

The V8 runner has an elocked 4:10 rear with the standard unlocked 4:10 up front.

My other 4runner has an elocked 4:30 rear with the standard unlocked 4:30 up front.

I wanted to see if it was worth it to swap the two out. Mind you that the other 4runner is not being parted out but kept whole.

I can't tell a difference between driving the two because the V8 has so much more power. So testing them by the seat of the pants driving is not comparable.
