4.88's and 33's

The 3.4 engine has plenty of power to pull these trucks. Ask Downpour11, he was rocking the stock 4.10s with his 35's, granted his engine only had about 360,000 miles on it.

Yea I'm kidding. I had 33s on my truck for a few months. It's not bad as long as you don't go over 60mph lol



Just put the 33s on. If you don't like it put the 4:88s in

Snow junky sounds more like crack junky to me.... Lol( giving you a bad time) I was running 4.10s with all my weight and big tires ect. Then went to 4.88. I probably should have gone 5.29, but oh well it works fine for me. No way would I go 5.29 unless you tow a lot, have big tires ie 35s and or have full armor. 4.88 will be as close to perfect as you are gonna get. It's a good investment, the transmission will thank you with a long life

Ya its a done deal anyhow, tires on Monday, should have gears by Wednesday, should be trying both by next weekend. Provided that i get my new coils installed before then. Had already purchased all this crap before writing the post, just wanted to see if i was heading in the right direction. Sounds like I am without a doubt, Thanks!

Ive been running a set of Copper Discovery AT and I have been impressed with them.

I also have been running these tires and have been very happy. I went with the load E just for the stronger sidewalls when driving aired down, but for the price they're great. They look a little plain but the traction is good and so far they've worn well on road and have stood up to some pretty sharp & rocky terrain.

This is what I'm saving up for...4.88's! I already running 33's and can't wait to re-gear.

The rig goes marvelous! Happy w/ everything so far! Tundra and Landcruiser springs, Bilsteins, Sonoran Steel extras, tranny cooler, 255/85/16 Bighorns, 4.88 Nytro's in the rear! Rides great, drives great, lugs in the hills, lot less tranny shift! At 75 only tachs 200 rpm more then stock gears and tires. Should get the front gears installed after the holidays, Savage rear bumper and sliders should be in soon! I did the rear gear install myself w/ the help of a mechanic from work, everything came out to spec, and extremely pleased. No noisies or leaks! Hopefully the front goes the same! I was a little intimated by it at first, but it wasn't that bad to do, can't wait to tackle the front R&P! Should have some pics soon!
