4 Runner Problems. please help! Electrical issues!

Like the title says! No Mechanical problems almost all electrical! please help!

Hey so i have noticed that bumped has been rusting in some spots well i got up close and personal with it the other day when i was getting some rust off and i noticed one of the rust spots has ate through the whole bumper! What do i do??!? Do i have to buy a new one? Or can i do what some of you guys have done and spray painted it the color of your other plastic and possibly put like a cardboard piece on the back side to make it blend in??

Also My E-Brake light turns on when i accelerate im sure this is a quick fix but how do i do that?

My Driver side and Passenger side door locks dont lock with the key fob when its hotter than normal out i press the lock button and everything else locks except the front 2 normally its just the driver side. So i just do it manual by sticking the key in the key hole or just slapping it down. It works in the cold and cool days but not when its hot out.

Also my ABS light wont go off and i have changed the front breaks TWICE since it has came on. First time the Break pad was gone and the rotor had some huge gouges in it.

And my A/C Lights are either half lit fully lit or not lit at all its random and changes everytime i turn on the truck. suggestions?

If anyone can help out on any of these thatd be sweat!

You need to replace the lock solenoids for the front doors.

You need to check your abs fuses, then you will have to check your ABS wheel senors. There are 4 of them. I would use an ohm reader and check the resistants in all of them, the one with the open or extremely low resistants. If the all check out then another issue might be that the sensors and the toothed gear that they read are extremly dirty. You will need to remove and clean.

You will need to clean the light bulb contacts, they have oxidized and sometimes make a connection and sometimes don't.

Everything Slingtoe said, the abs light will be your hardest issue to figure out, I would take it to a shop and see if they can narrow it down to which sensor is at fault.
 
The only part i see that isnt the problem is break fluid, the break fluid was completely fine on the full line! Other part ill have to find some handy time. I also have no idea how to take apart the A/C Console and how to clean them! I have cleaned the ABS Sensors and that didnt help, im taking it to my friends shop and one of his mechs will check it out for free and possibly fix that. He said he might just put in a code and erase it. Bumper part...fck that sucks
 
The bumper part is easy. He just said get a used front bumper because they are relatively cheap to find used.

Nothing wrong going with your plan of painting but will take some work. You'll need to scuff up your bumper and remove the rust. This is probably not the preferred method but I would put some duct tape on the backside of the hole in your bumper. Get sum bondo and fill the hole. The tape on the back will keep the wet bondo in place until it dries. Then remove tape and sand bondo flush with bumper. Apply primer and paint your choice of color. Or you could bedline and spraypaint the bedliner your color of choice. Which ever you prefer.

Yay i was looking for someone to give me an idea of something like that a cheap quick fix. Il be doing that. I was thinking about keeping it chrome which is a pain in the ass i think it makes it stand out. But I shall see.

Another problem i forgot about is the rear windshield fluid it just runs out instead of a spray any known fixes?
 
Is it clogged?

How are you planning to keep it chrome? I've never used the chrome spray paint since I'm more into D-chroming.

You are the FIRST person I have ever seen who shares this problem with me.

and I HATE it.

I will replace those bas****s faster than I can fill my tank... :(

The e-brake light is only tied to two circuits and not anything else. The is a parking brake switch the is on the base of the braking brake handle. I imagine if it, some spilled a drink on it or the lever was not down all the way, the light would come on. The other circuit is the brake fluid level indicator. The float could be bouncing around in the fluid causing the light to come on during acceleration. I would add a couple of onces of brake fluid and see if the problem goes away.

The ac console trim is held in with spring clips. Just pull off. The Controller is held in with Philip screws, the light bulb sockets are located on the back. remove the bulb, clean contact points. If it still doesn't work, replace the light bulb with another.

Im 100% sure the issue is with the floats because its comes and goes everytime i accelerate! and Ill try and fix that stuff thanks man
