4 Wheel drive Problem?

My truck is in the shop due to 4H not working. No indicator light. Verified by spinning rear tires until traction control kicks in. 4L works and diff lock works and indicator lights come on. No solution yet but dealer said they think its possibly electrical. They worked on it for a few hours. Not a good sign. Anyone have this problem? Or any insight would be appriciated. Any tech's out there?

Bent prong

Well,
Got my truck fixed. Turned out I broke it. When I pulled the dash apart to install an 08 scion deck, I bent one of the prongs in the plug that plugs into the back to the multimode switch. It was just enough to allow 4L to work but not 4H. I have taken this dash apart 4 times with 2 05 4runners. This last time I messed up.
It did snap into place but visually, it was just slighty at an angle from what I was told by the tech. He didn't notice until checking for electrical current in the plug.
Just a heads up if someone is taking their dash apart. Cost me 255 bucks.

Bummer! Thanks for the tip about the multi-mode plug though. There's three types of DIY guys, those who have, those who will and those who lie...
