4LO light on randomly???

Hey guy's this is the second time I've noticed my 4LO light coming on by itself. First of all I'm in 2WD when this is coming on, the green 4WD light above the 4Lo is off. I'm going to call Toyota about it on Monday, but I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this happening?

I don't remember the exact details of when it came on the first time about a week ago, but this time I do. I just started the truck and was in my driveway. I was about to back it up in the garage, so it was on for probably 30 sec when I noticed the light. It will go away if I quickly switch it from 4HI back to 2wd. My drive way is probably a 15-20 degree sloop, not sure if this would matter.


WTF? Anybody have an idea about it?

Thought I had replied to this AGES ago LOL But in my case it happened again just driving at like 60, which we all know 4LO can't do that. So I took it to Toyota under warranty and they basically took the connections apart and ohm checked the wires and after that it never happened again. So my guess is some sort of bad connection triggering this. Not sure it at the ECU or the tranny, but worth a shot to take those apart clean them and reseat them.
