New ring for the lower frame bushing. Sandblasted area and cleaned up first and welded a small hole first.

Panhard mount fixed and done. Did a bypass for water and dirt under the spring seat so it will not go in to the mount. the 2 holes underside will be covered with 2 plastic plugs after spraying in fat so it will not rust.

The new bumperstop cups are ready to weld in, i make a drain hole aswell if it will comes water down there later, anyway noe i can grease it inside to protect it from rust. the original is a rust trap, mine was full of water when i make holes in them. I bought a new rubber boob cause i missed one.. expencive but worth it.. the other one i cut a new disk and glued it on, so i can reuse it.

Got time today to weld in those bumper cups.
This time i decide to grind down those welds flush with the steel..

Impressive restoration! The frame on mine was way worse when I got it, and I did debate trying exactly what your doing. Although after seeing the amount of detail and work you did, I'm glad I was able to find a rust free frame. Cant wait to see more pictures!

So the tailgate is finish welded, i think i will trow on some 2k epoxy primer, since part of the car will have a new paint anyway.

The new metal plates i make new holes for the window rubber list mounting clip as well.. wrong way on the picture btw.

Begun to sand down the lower part of tailgate door, cause i want to paint most possible when it is ready, doors, fenders etc.. the axle and upperpart on the tailgate is ready for paint after some layers of 2k epoxy primer.
