I paid $100 for it , the saleman gave me discount because I bought a 2006 4runner from him. Normal price is about $170. Dont know if it will fit a 2005 or earlier. Toyota web site has this option for 2006 but did not show picture. This one is original Toyota part, made in Canada.

Isn't that 06 the same as 03-05? At least they have the same body style? As a company point of view, I don't think they would start a new production line for 06...

Bumper, grille, lights are different, but underbody should be the same.

I'm hoping to put it on an '05, don't see why it wouldn't fit. Wonder how thick it is?
My dealer doesn't have them in stock but says they are in a regional w/h and can have one in 3 days. Quoted me 178.20.

Before I went to lunch today, I dropped by the Toyota Dealer... they quoted me cdn$150

I am in California. The skid plate has a stiker said "Made in Canada"

No. If you look carefully, you'll notice different mounting brackets and mounting holes (new are oval). momo.75 has installed his skid plate using towing hooks. The new one looks like using frame as for mounting surface. It's better choice for the skid plate.

That's a pretty good price, I'll have to remember that when/if I order mine.
