4runner 2006 factory skid plate

For my 2006, it is quite different than momo75 has. Here is the picture taken on the passenger side mounting of the skid plate.There are 4 white bolts on each side and the black bracket. The two bolts that were mounted on the side, the bottom bolt is bigger and fit to the thread on the 4runner, the top bolt is smaller was mounted on the hole with no thread, there is a device that come with the kit to mount the smaller bolt.

If your 05 or earlier 4runner has thes two holes on each side, then it probably will fit.

No. If you look carefully, you'll notice different mounting brackets and mounting holes (new are oval). momo.75 has installed his skid plate using towing hooks. The new one looks like using frame as for mounting surface. It's better choice for the skid plate.

It wouldn't surprise me if they had more room to move, especially if we buy a bunch.

I'll be working/prepping the 4runner this weekend for inspection and going to partznet on Monday to buy anything needed. I'll ask about the group buy on Monday at lunch.

I just checked my '05 and it does have those 2 mounting holes.
However, those that have a brush guard/light bar, it looks as though these use the same mounting holes.
So it looks like there may need to be some modification to the mounting brackets if you are mounting both a skid plate and a brush guard/light bar.
Obviously it depends on your application, but that's what it looks like.

Looks like I need to make a visit to Toyota dealership and borough those mounting brackets for a couple of minutes to see how they will fit with my brush guard.

my 05 limited has 2 holes on each side, 1 with thread and 1 without
