4Runner 4wd Modes

In trying to understand the 4Runner’s 4wd and related systems, I’ve read the owner’s manual along with a number of forum postings. The instructions in the manual are extensive but it isn’t always clear regarding what systems are enabled (or disabled) in the various settings. I’ve tried to fill in the holes from forum postings and what dash lights come on or go off under the various settings. I've attached a table of what I believe is going on with the different systems. Any thoughts on anything you believe to be incorrect in the table?

Good effort, but probably in the wrong forum. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have a 5th gen 4Runner? 2010+ ?

No, it's actually a 4th gen. 2008 Sport. Toyota began putting the VCS Off switch in 4Runners beginning in either '07 or '08.

There should be an official chart out there, but I can't find it for the 4runner. Here's one from a Tacoma:

Also, there are probably some errors in your chart.
4WDHINODL probably has throttle reduction.
On (hard) might be what they call ATRAC.

Thanks for the chart. I wasn't able to find anything similar for the 4Runner either.
I agree that my table may have errors. I am hoping to make it more accurate. But based on the Tacoma chart, there is no throttle reduction in 4-Hi. "*4 Engine output is not regulated."
