4runner Brake Question

Hey Guys,

So I am about due for brakes on the 4runner, I think my stock rotors might need to get replaced. So I figured it might be a good time to try and upgrate my rotors/pads.

I currently tow with the 4runner on a frequent basis and would like some additional stopping power in the brake dept. I want to try to use some aftermarket rotors and maybe OEM pads:confused:

I just want to see what set ups some of you are running for towing and if you recommend them or not. I dont think I need slotted rotors or anything too fancy, just something that might help protect against fadding while towing.

Thanks fellas

If you are planning to tow/off-road often i highly suggest slotted rotors and upgraded pads. Slotted rotors dissipate heat ALOT better then stock rotors, which heat up quite a bit if towing often youll wear them out even more if you went with stock. and upgraded pads simply because they stop better. downside is some upgraded pads make more noise. I plan to do the same thing i just suggested very soon.

hope this helps
