4runner clock continuosly resetting/fast forwarding???

I have a 2000 limited. The minutes on the clock are perpetually in fast forward, as if I were holding down the min button to change the time. Is the clock about to bite the dust or is there something I can do?

Try hitting it with a hammer. If that doesn't fix it then you've got an electrical problem.

Is it as simple as something has stuck in between the button and trim causing it to be held down?

Not trying to be a smart*ss but I've had a clock do that and found a little piece of something that settled in the crack when the button was pushed.

I would stay out of that thing if I were you. Your probably aging at a much higher rate!
