What about whp #s?
Those rarely give real world acceleration numbers and I'd be curious to see what a real strip run would net since those numbers seem slow for a 2010. My '99 ran a 18.1 up here at 5800ft which would translate to a second quicker at sea level and I can't imagine my truck running anywhere close to a 4th or 5th gen in the 1/4.

It is hard with so many companies doing testing, each driver is different, day, temp, wind, alt, etc. Where do you get a baseline for results? Who do you really trust to give you the most accurate results? Obviously the 4R can run under 8 seconds 0-60 and under 16 in the 1/4, depending on the conditions (truck trend did it). If you do not trust them, where do you draw the line? Then again it can also run slower based on the other results.

I am serious though, is there ONE company that people turn to for performance results that they know are accurate, as much as they can be?

Then again, this is not a sports car, it is an off-road machine, a tenth here or there does not really matter, unless it is who gets to the trail first

I believe the Truck Trend test since V6 and V8 4th gens ran close to mid 15s so even a heavier 5th gen should be a low 16 at it's slowest.

My test was on the way to work, with a $10 iPhone app. Not really the most accurate. But I thought someone would get a kick out of it.

Ohhh ok,phone app for $10 can't be expected to perform wonders but that's pretty inaccurate.
