Like a true southerner, my 4Runner, which has spent its entire life in South Carolina, hates the cold so much!
The v6 sounds like a damn tractor in the morning until it warms up. When it dips below 30 degrees the LCD radio display starts tripping out. Just for fun it likes to throw the evap code due to the gas cap gasket anytime it dips below freezing. Hilariously this morning I climbed in and the cup holder was in pieces!? No idea what happened but it looks like the cold made the plastic extra brittle and the piece holding the two swing arms in place cracked in two.
Of course these are all silly issues and it always gets me where I need to go and never has left me stranded but it cracks me up at how much of a southern personality this truck has :smow:
