I bought my 4Runner 2007 SR5 V-6 about 4 months ago (traded in my beloved Honda Accord EX V-6 that I had wanted forever). For the first month I had several ticky-tack problems that had me at the stealership every Wednesday for at least 5 or six weeks (my day off). I documented this on this board several times and I even came close to contacting a lawyer I was so upset but because you people believe in the product I just waited it out and now it seems that I have fallen in love AGAIN with this vehicle - it runs great and it looks awesome. Toyota did give me (repeat - gave me) a platinum plus coverage package for free for all the trouble so right now, like I said, I am in 4Runner heaven. I also think they are "softening up" their other vehicles, It's one reason I didn't like Toyotas - too many vehicles designed for women (sorry - just my opinion). But not the 4Runner - this is a man's toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just thought I would thank all of you for your thoughts and opinions on the board - I visit everyday and always learn something about the 4Runner that I didn't know before (the oil change after 1000 miles was one of them - the dealership didn't mention this but my mechanic told me it was a good idea).
