4runner help

hey guys, so i put up a post about a week ago, saying that i was a proud new owner of a T4R and was wondering if yall had any mod suggestions. Some of the guys asked if i could post a picture of my rig and what id be using it for.

im in college so ill use it to drive around town mostly, ill be going to the beach to fish and dive ALOT, camping trips on the weekends, id like to do occasional offroading (but nothing serious). being in college, i cant spent a whole ton of money on it (but i am willing to save up some money for more pricey mods). Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! my rig is a 2001 4x4 sr5.

Congrats on the purchase. 3rd gens are BA 4Runners. As far as mod suggestions go you are gonna have much better success if you search around in the 3rd Gen Section and post up a thread there discussing what you think after you look at all the "mods" threads. For what you plan to do with your T4R you really don't need to do much to it. As long as all the regular maint. is current, that thing will take you through all you listed above as is.

However, we all seem to want to add stuff here and there. Here is what I found in the 3rd Gen Section just searching "mods" in the thread titles.

Some decent tires would the place to start. Either some good All Terrains or some more aggressive Mud Terrains.
