4runner immobilizer

Hi everyone I started to do some major upgrades on my 2009 4runner and security has become a concern.

I wanted to ask all the experts out there how effective the 4runner immobilizer is? If you do not have the key with the correct chip there is no way to start the car right?
Can anyone recommend a effective security upgrade? Has anyone one had experience with Ravelco?

there are two ways to steal one of these. first is to have the key, so they either steal your keys or carjack you, second is to bring a trailer or flatbed.

you cant swap computers, you cant make a copy of the key pattern ect. if you dont have "the" key it wont start end of story

That sounds great to me. So a trail is the only enemy which I assume is pretty rare.

no a trailer, like you know what you tow a car on behind another truck... they can steal your rig with a trailer or flatbed truck.
