Thought this might answer questions you may have about the process.
We upgraded our wimpy interior lights to LEDs. This is simple do it yourself project that is inexpensive, takes very little effort and time to do, and will give immediate, gratifying results.

A complete set from HID Kit Pros, but there are dozens of suppliers out there that offer about the same.

got them same ones for mine! had no problem with warranty too, when 1 of the went out pre-maturely :nod::nod:

I just did the whole interior last night, used the Syl Zevo LED. Super clean light and the Zevo gives you LIFETIME warranty, replacement bulb if it ever is to go out. Buy once, cry once in my opinion.

I’m gonna thread jack a little bit because I’m not allowed to post my own and I’m looking for answers. I have a 16 TEP and I want to change the speedo lights from blue to red along with the light around the entune system. Does anyone know if this can be done or any kits available?

Started with a few then did them all. My only warning is if you start plan to finish including the mirror puddle and license plate lamps. :gun4:

LED fuse issue

Hi 4Runner pilots,

I'm kind of new on the forum. Just replaced my license plate lamps with Philips Zevo LEDs, and it looks nice, so now I'm planning on doing the interior as well. I keep hearing people complain about blowing fuses while swapping the bulbs out. I have a 2018 Sr5, and don't want any warranty issues.

Has anyone tried disconnecting the battery before installing the upgraded bulbs ? Seems like it would save a lot of people a lot of headaches on here. Has anyone had issues at the dealer due to the LEDs being there? I like modifying my vehicles, but I like warranties more !

Hey man. Welcome to the community! I honestly dont think disconnecting the battery will help due to you would need to test the led to see if it works. And if it was a "bad one" then it'll blow either way. As for dealership giving you trouble. I doubt it! Either way this is your T4R do as you please! I have led interior and haven't had any trouble

Hey folks, I have a 19 ORP looked up the Frye kits and 194s and both say they don't fit 19s. I found that funny so I checked 18s and got same doesn't fit your vehicle message. Wtf
