Brought forth from "I saw One" thread.

I here by call to order a Fun Meet, where we can kick back, eat and

Two Tentative dates for a meet:
Sat 10/15/05 or Sun 10/16/05
To make this and impartial pick I have listed 4 different locations from which you can choose.

Rams Head (Savage Mills location) http://www.ramsheadtavern.com/savage/

Red Brick Station (White Marsh) www.redbrickstation.com

Rams Head (Annapolis)http://www.ramsheadtavern.com/Annapolis/

Famous Daves BBQ (Columbia) www.famousdaves.com

PM me with the time you think it will be best to meet or with a better date and pick one of the restaurants listed above.

I thought you were going the last two weekends in OCT.

My mistake, 3rd and 5th weekends, not 4th and 5th. I barely know what day it is with my current work schedule.

I corrected in the other post.

Needless to say, have fun, and take some pix if you can. I will love to see more pix of the terrain.

Perhaps you can share some trail stories at the next meet.

Meet and Eat

meet and eat
whitemarsh...redbrick station coming from hanover would be about 45min.

Sat afternoon would be best for me.

Thanks for trying to get something going.

Mike

Saturday sounds good Mike, the closest we get to the meet date we'll decide on a meeting place. Redbrick Station is an awesome place, they have excellent brews.
The previous Chef (college friend of mine) invited me once to be the guest brewmaster for a day, but I turned him down, cause I was afraid to mess up the whole batch and have to live with that shame for the rest of my life. So instead I invited him to my house and we brewed a nice Red Ale

Later Mike

Rausch Creek

Nice Photos, Itis nice to see so many mod 4runners having fun on the rocks:D

Not to change the subject of this thread, but after a long consideration buddies of mine and I wil be going up to Rausch 10/22/05. Ofcourse we are not going to attempt any stunts like you Pros do, we just want to "put or trucks to the test without scratching the paint job" .

Keep on :guitar2:

Have fun.

Tell Lynn what type of trails you want (green) and she'll tell you which ones to try.

And we're not pros, just out having fun.

What!! No Meet!!

Checking this Thread to see if any one else is going to come to the meet is exhausting

Any way, seems like everyone is busy with their daily lives during the month of October, so we need to come up with a different date.
I rather some one else spearhead the next meet, you can count on me to be there.

Till next meet

Thanks for the PM MDT4RNR. Unfortunately I can't make it this weekend. Busy with work, school and other crap. Maybe some other day.

I should be able to make it. What exactly is the plan? I wouldn't mind doing some "soft core" off-roading. You know take her off the pavement. She's still a virgin. Almost 10K and all on paved roads.

I feel your pain NoSpeedLimit, I am still trying to get mine out for a fun ride. I have come to find that MD is not offroad friendly, well at least not in the immediate state parks near the metropolitan areas.
NOTE: If any of you have any friends with some property, ask them if they wouldn't mind having us for some soft-core off-roading. We'll tread lightly :driving:

Meanwhile back at the ranch,
:awais: EDIT:
Open for suggestions on meeting place, I understand that SOLICE is driving from Mechanicsburg (Approx. 2hrs to Columbia), NOSpeedLimit driving from Germantown (Approx. 40-50minutes)
Bluto and I in Columbia. I pulled up the MD map on google and seems like somewhere in Baltimore will be the central place to meet.

BTW: I just got my bumper lights mod finished and it looks good, if any of you wants to have this done, let me know and we'll get everything ahead of time and do the install that day. I have the experience and it should not take long. Also if you are interested in front grill covers let me know i have some extra laying around we can easily put on that day.

Meeting Places

After much thought and research, meeting in Baltimore city would suck. There is no real nice place to meet that jumps out at me.

So here are three optional meeting places:
1st
Arundel Mills Mall (I heard the BMW meet took place outside behind TheVitaminShoppe in 08/05... large turn out)
Good place to meet cause if you can't get away from wife and kids they can go shop at the largest mall in MD and kill some time doing a little x-mas shoping, there are all kinds of places to eat in and around the mall, and don't forget  BASS PRO SHOP is located here.

2nd
White Marsh Mall
Toned down version of above, good eateries around at the AVENUE.

3rd
some random State park in MD where we can hang out and fire up a grill and have some dogs and burgers (I know it is cold but if the weather is anything like this first week in Nov, we are looking at a posibility. )
Patapsco State park, Gunpowder falls, Loch Raven or some other location.

I pick Arundel Mills Mall, but of course I'll go where ever the majority wants to go.

Reply to this post w/ your choice of meeting location.

In Baltimore, the parking garage in Federal Hill is nice. Meet on roof level. Most of Cross Street Market has been re-modeled. Only problem is the Ravens have a game on the 20th.

Savage Mills has a big upper level parking lot, never fills up.
