4runner models

in the 2nd gen 4runners some came with the 4cyl, others with the 6, then some came with the 31" tires and 4:88's with other options

are their different models or what are they called? I've hunted with no luck..

the 2.4L 4cyl (22R-E) was the base model small tires, rollup windows etc. you could add say a power pkg. which included power acc. or chrome pkg. etc. The V6 3.0L (3VZ) you could get in the higher models, limited was only available with the V6. after 1992 The factory 4.88 gears only came on auto's with the 31x10.5s (before that there were no 4.88s) 1990 and 1991 had the spare tire on the tailgate (with the 31X10.5s) and had the indented in square headlights. The base models came with 2 speakers in the dash (no boxes) the higher models came with 4speakers (in boxes) 2 in dash and 2 in cargo area.................................................ETC...............:whipping2

Mine is a 92 with the 22re. I have SR5 badges. It has power windows, (had) chrome package, tinted windows, 4 speakers with the boxes. Pretty much everything a premium v6 model would have besides a sunroof.
It is the only 4runner that I have seen with this combo, but I did buy it from a Toyota Mechanic.
