Greetings!! After 3 years, I'm back in a 4Runner. Flew up and drove back with it yesterday. Nothing like a 700 mile trip to get acquainted with the new ride 
No more than 2 hours after picking it up, I got stuck in a hail storm but thankfully there was not damage to the rig.
Anyhow, I had a 00' 4Runner and moved over to a Sequoia LTD 4X4 about 3 years ago. When it came time for a new rig, I wanted to move back down to the smaller 4Runner.
I had my heart set on a silver 4x4 V8 Sport as I love the look of the hood scoop. I was about to pull the trigger on a Sport but decided I couldn't live with the cloth interior and base radio the Sport had. I ended up with a 06' Limited V8 4X4 instead.
I had never driven a current gen 4Runner but figured what the hell and flew up and bought the car. First, the interior of the Limited is awesome! I think its quite a bit nicer than my Sequoia. The drive is a lot different than the Sequoia but overall I'm very happy with the way it drives.
I'll be removing the Ipod interface from the Sequoia tomorrow and putting in the 4Runner. Other than that, I'm not sure what else I might do to it as far as upgrades. I will however be looking for a Sport hood to put on.
