4runner pest

So i park my truck outside all it's life, and lately i've been frankly ignoring it. i haven't washed the truck in about 6 month, it's acting more of a temporary storage/ transportation device right now. And last couple of week i've been noticing all kinds of critters has made my runner their home.

Here are my guests:
Black widow, about the size of a dime, spotted 3-4 last month

Some kind of moth, these are about the size of a mexican dollar, spotter 3-4, couple of them flew out when i drove on the freeway

These little guys are under my hood somewhere. they come out once i park.

And these little guys come sliding down my headliners SWAT style. pretty anoyying having them hit your face when you drive.

Also these ****ers, they are non stop coming outta everywhere

Undercarrage is housing these fellas

And the interior is pretty much covered in these and spider webs

As you can see i gotquiet a few friends with me in my truck altho i love friends these little critter are starting to annoy me very much. i got myself a couple of foggers. i'll set them this weekend and check for dead bodies monday morning, i'll keep this thread updated.

Thats pretty damn disgusting lol.. I had a few insect eggs laid on my fender liner and i thought it was gross. spiders are no biggie as long as they are outside.

I park around a lotta bushes grass and trees and since it's mating season they been going crazy around my area

lol i wear shorts and t shirt in winter. altho i do miss not having snow or a chance to wear really cool looking ear muffs

takes too long, these foggers are pretty fast acting and they kill eggs, so gonna give it a try.

what about spraying bug spray around the parking spot? like the exterior of your home? could u do this to prevent other in the future?

Is there a food source in your truck? Like fries under the seat or something?

I know how I get where there is a thing of fries in front of me, some go flying, sure....it's the nature of the beast.

Nasty stuff man. This is actually what I do for work. I've been doing it for 2 years, not gonna be my career but it pays well while I go to school.

So check it out... If you don't use your truck that much get some Nuvan strips. Those things can clear out an enclosed area very quickly. They work on most flying crawling bugs. Basically it releases a vapor the bugs don't like. We've used these on houses that have bad wasp infestations, and they work by even putting them on the outside Just don't leave the strip in if you're planning on driving it. You might start feeling like your flying.

Other good things you can do is like others were saying, spray a thick barrier around your truck with some good bug killer. Raid and Home Defense are ok products but they don't really leave a solid residual. Go to some garden store besides home depot or lows and buy the good stuff.

LOL. Walnut Creek which is just near the larger San Jose CA (where I grew up) is a boring suburb of central California.

It is probably one of the places with the LEAST bugs, snakes, spiders ect in America.

They don't have the following:
Any poisonous snakes
Brown recluse or Hobo spider
Bats that carry Rabies
Fire ant colonies
Drive by shootings

good stuff, got any advice for indian meal moth at home, its driving my mom crazy.

yeah to be honest those strips actually work for moths too. You just gotta have a door you can close and not occupy for longer than 3 hours at a time. (like a closet) If they are in the pantry, have her look for any kind of grain, rice, cereal anything in an open container, and throw it away. They breed in that stuff Its best to keep that stuff in tupperware although sometimes the moth larvae are already in the grain from the store. They look like little seeds. its pretty gross.

One more thing we use for moths is called "pantry patrol" its basically a sticky trap but it comes with a pheromone lure. It's not the best to get rid of the source but it for sure tones it down a lot.

I don't mind spiders and insects, but snakes, on the other hand... now that's another matter!
