4Runner road trip

Daughter and I took a nice road trip vaca with the 4R to Boston, meet up with sis's family then to her house in the White Mountains New Hampshire. Hiking, Tubing, Kayaking, grilling, games, beer, bourbon etc lots of family time.

Took a solo trip to the top of Mount Washington on a day they allow you to drive up before sunrise and watch sunrise from the top - they only do this 3 days a year. Total luck as I found this out 10pm the night BEFORE!!! Hell YEAH I was doing it!! Got up at 1:15am and started driving, arrived at 3:30am and was #20 in line to go up- about 100 cars lined up behind me!!
Of course, had no issues at all and thankfully just had brakes replaced 2 weeks ago dam perfect timing!

Families funny, it's just my daughter and I and they say get a smaller car, until my 4R takes all the coolers, backpacks, hiking boots, life vests etc and still has room lol

I used to cruise through Lago Vista/Marble Falls areas whenever I craved something resembling elevation.

Though it's a bit of a trip in either case, I enjoyed Arkansas to Missouri, and friends swear that Riudoso NM has some nice mountain roads.
