I am NOT an all-arounder. Especially these days. My endurance is so horrible.
Curious if any of you guys (and gals) have any sort of recovery routine be it stretching or diet. I've been noticing that the older I get, the longer it takes me to recover. I recently bought a doorway pull-up bar and have been doing minute hangs in the morning and evenings. Feel like that's been helping me feel a little more loose.
You can boulder "endurance" days. I do it all the time. Stick to V6 and under and see how many problems you can do in a day. My best was on my 40th birthday. I went out and just pulled as many as I could. I wanted to do 40 problems I ended up doing 42. I was wasted by the end of the day. lol
As far as recovery, just get used to it. I'm turning 44 next month and I can't do three days on anymore. Things hurt more and for longer but that's just part of life. I do take glucosomine everyday and have for 5 years. I feel it helps with the joint fluidity. I also stretch way more and warm up more. That said, I'm still getting stronger every year. I expect that to stop very soon but it won't stop me from trying. lol
