4Runner Rocks in the Snow

The Seattle snow is pretty tough this week. We've had a mail truck, a tow truck with the mail truck, a subaru and an Acura MDX all get stuck.

06 4Runner just goes up the hill no problem... :-)

Thank You Toyota!!!

i agree. i was up in seattle w. all that snow and thats heavy wet gross snow to drive in..but the runner handles nicely in it. i have a few buddies up there w. runners and none of them had issues

I agree.

We live north of Seattle. Our house is at the bottom of a 0.6 mile long 16% grade curvy hill. My 2007 had no problems going up and down it the past two weeks - including one morning with 8 fresh inches of snow on it (I made first tracks).

Hill is still so bad that mail has not been delivered in 10 days. UPS won't come down to deliver either.

Several days there were other SUV's spun out in people's front yards, left for did sitting halfway in the road halfway up/down the hill, etc because they couldn't make it.

It was a joy passing by them in the 4R. Even my wife, who has never liked my purchase, told me how lucky we were to have it. Tonight she had to drive her sister back to the airport and wanted to drive the 4R because it made her feel so much more secure.

I'm loving it.

I will miss all this snow... I love this truck.

Of course I can't compare the flat lands of Chicago to Seattle or Colorado but...the T4R is my 1st truck, 1st 4wd vehicle. With the recent snow we had I was able to play a little with my T4R. I, went on purpose to places that were not plowed, far away from the city. I wanted to see how T4R handles in the snow, I had a blast!!! I was very impressed with my baby. I wish I could take it where real winters (read lots of snow) are, well maybe some day.
