2014 4Runner SRV
I'm getting more wind noise in the cabin, and it sounds like it is coming from the rear liftgate. This past winter, after a heavy wet snow, I opened the rear hatch. Because of the heavy snow, the hatch wouldnt go up all the way so I pushed on it, forcingit up as far as possible. Dumb thing to do since heavy wet snow doesn’t compress like powder.
Since then it seems like interior wind noise has increased and I think the gap between the hatch door and body is larger. The hatch opens and closes fine, the hinges don't look like they moved and I don't see anything that is obviously bent.
In the photos, does it look like the gap is larger than normal? If it does look off, is this something I can adjust/fix or am I looking at a body shop repair?
Thanks.
