Glad I found this forum, I've found a lot of good stuff in here. However, one thing I've found that I don't like is the fact that there aren't any viable forms of forced induction for the 03-present 4.0 V6 models. We need to keep pestering the manufacturers/tuners to try to get something put out for our vehicles......TRD, Squires Turbo Systems, I don't care if it's a normal supercharger like TRD, or a funky turbo setup like http://www.ststurbo.com/tacoma, I just want boost....
Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now, I realize no one in here can really help me there.
Anyway, because of stuff I've read on this forum, I've ordered quite a bit of stuff to begin the tranformation of my 4runner this weekend. I'm excited to get to work on it. I'll post pics after I get everything put on.
Saturday, I'll install these: Westin Safari Bar, K&N Intake and Borla dual exhaust. Monday, I've got an appointment to have a Revtek 3" lift, American Racing Wheels, and Nitto 285 tires installed.
I know it's nothing major, but I'm still excited to see the changes this stuff makes (or doesn't). In the meantime, I'll be forever hunting for a quality form of forced induction.....
