I didn't realize the TRDP doesn't come with seat memory. A little disappointing, but oh well I drive it 363/365 days of the year.

Im only asking for speaker upgrade questions. My buddy here in socal does a lot of custom show cars for SEMA, etc. he pointed me to this company OEM Audio Plus

He says they are legit and do stereo upgrades to the whole system while keeping the integrity and look of the oem system. I haven't physically heard any of their systems yet, and am in some research stages AND I still don't have my trd pro for another week. The sound system may be perfect as is. I'm just in heavy mod/new toy fever mode :)

They asked me if I had the JBL speakers, hence my question. I guess they are about to launch their 4Runner package soon.

See their email below. And a pic of the woofer they are starting to create for the 4runners.

"Thanks for considering us for your 2017 4Runner! Our team is literally in the process of introducing our Toyota 4Runner System 450Q kit in the coming months!! The kit will comprise of the following:
1-inch Soft Dome Tweeters which replaces the factory paper cone tweeters in the dash locations.
Multi-channel Power Amplifier with built-in 32-Bit DSP andlVehicle-Specific Acoustic Tuning perfected for the 4Runner.
Quick-Sync Wiring Harness for a seamless plug & play connection.
8-inch Carbon Fiber cone Woofer in a sealed 14-liters subwoofer specifically for the 4Runner (image attached)
Our team has a few questions for you in the effort of providing you the perfect solution:
Does your 4Runner have 3rd row seating?
What Trim level is your 4Runner? (SR5, Limited, etc..)
Is your 4Runner equipped with the JBL package?"

I was passing through SoCal on the road trip back from picking up pro and stopped in at a dealership looking for a part. I spoke with a OEM Audio Plus rep while there and he gave me a demo of their Tundra system as the 4Runner system wasn't out yet.

I can say the sound was good. It wasn't anything life changing, but that's due to the fact that it's a fairly mild upgrade overall. The highs are a little clearer and more crisp with the replacement tweeters, mids have a bit more punch, and lows are drastically filled in with the addition of the sub.

For the same money you could piece together a much nicer sounding setup, but what you're paying for with their system is the plug and play integration and clean installation. The Tundra had a pretty trick under-the-rear-seat mount for the sub which kept everything hidden. I believe the amp mounts under the front seat. That sub enclosure for the back of the T4R looks decent.

If ease of installation/removal is important to you, and you're looking for a reasonable upgrade to the sound quality at an OK price, it's not a bad way to go I feel.

Hey bud - is there a link to his products? I want to learn more...

Last week I got my Cornfed 2/1.5 spacer kit installed. This morning, got my Ridge Grapplers 285/70 mounted. Zero rubbing. Drives unreal.

Damn... zero rubbing with 285's! I was worried as people have different reviews of having to cut and such with 285's.

Just got off the phone with my dealer. My Cement is set to be at the port on April 10th with local delivery a week later. Anyone else get delivery updates today?

No rubbing at all. As soon as it came off the lift, took it for a 5 minute drive, came back to the shop, turned wheels both left and right, all the way, and checked. At least 1 inch or more clearance from the fender liner on both driver and passenger side, the lower bumper corner, and maybe 1 inch or slightly less from the leading edge of the mud flaps. Couldn't get any better than that.

And the ride is so smooth, better than it was with the OEM tires.
