Okay I was on Tundratalk.net when I came across this video Toyota TRD Pro TV Commercial, 'Desert Gas Station' - iSpot.tv. In the video, there are 3 vehicles tundra, tacoma, and 4runner that have the trd pro package. One of the guys on the website got a screen shot of the 4runner, or at least part of it.

Just a quick nuggest...So when we were at the FJ Summit this past summer a few of us rode in the Trail Edition 4Runner that TRD brought (Ted Moncure was driving it). In addition to the prototype supercharger, that Particular TE was running a test set of high performance shocks that were a variant of those that come on the Tacome TX Pro. Ted didn't give us any big clues, or maybe he did and we were not absorbing it since we'd just experienced the awesomeness of the supercharger...

Great googly moogly! Think I may need some alone time after watching that! Paused the video enough times to get a glimpse of the "midnight black" TRD wheels that were on the SEMA FJ... Tho the clip was only of the lower rear passenger side, the wheel was definitely a six-bolt black TRD wheel and it was definitely on the 4Runner. Guess I better start saving some $$!!!

Those are definitely the wheels off of the SEMA FJ. I wonder if the shocks are going to be the same remote reservoir ones that are coming on the '14 Trail Teams FJ???

Yeah...if I had a '14 I'd be waiting until this came out until I started experimenting with a Sitoshi grill...looks like they might have gotten it right.

if that is a factory specific package (w supercharger) that we can't piece together, I'll be trading my '14 TE in on one as soon as its available!

Maybe I'm just blind but how on earth are you guys able to tell exactly which wheels and tires are on there from just that one second flash of the 4runner, which amounts to a less than a nip slip?

Now that shit is drool worthy :wow: ...the color is a little over top, I would dig inferno grey/silver :D

Like the new wheels too! I liked the old style TRD rim but if your make them look like bead locks they should be bead locks IMO.

The Tundra grill is sweet compared to that hideous bling-a-ling-a-ding-ding-thing they have going on now!

definitely the same wheels. pretty pumped to see them in a TV spot... all the more likely they'll make it into production. :hungry:

Fancy new tool in the video player called a "pause button"... screenshot attached :)

I am in the market for a 4runner. Been looking real hard at a 2013 TE, if they are really coming out with a TRD Pro 4runner with either the remote possibility of a V8 or blown V6 I will most definitely be waiting before I pull the trigger..
