4 years of production pre-facelift and then 2 years post-facelift doesn't seem very Toyota minded. I'd expect at least 3 years post-facelift, possibly more given the low volume nature (see FJ Cruiser).

Nope, its clearly a Rav4....lol

BTW, I was reading through some post on Toyota's FB page and one guy was all bent because they are doing a 4Runner and not a Rav4....no joke guy named Edwardo, I should have screen shot it...:clap2:

LOL I will say that I've been impressed with the Rav4 in the snow. This little trucklet pulled right up out of a plow banked driveway where we were staying with friends in Morgantown over the weekend. He is a diehard Subaru guy and was impressed with how easy the Rav got up the hill and through the snow.

But yeah, real offroading isn't done with 4 wheel independent suspension and 7.6" of ground clearance. If you want a good laugh, there is a youtube video where Jeep is pitching the Cherokee as an offroader. They talk about how much articulation it has while showing the rear wheel about 8" off the ground on pretty tame terrain because the IRS ran out of stroke.

I predict the Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro will have a 456hp LT1 Motor out of the Corvette with a travel diesel generator in the back. It will have an 8sp transmission and a limited slip differential in both front and back.

It will have 22" of travel and will fly on guilded wings of the Pegasus.

The TRD Pro will also give *******s on command.
