They probably mean Superchargers are available for the Tundra and Tacoma which is true. I like the black TRD rims and that's probably it for me. Hoping the Black TRD rims on the Tundra fit on my Land Cruiser as well. Also funny on Tundra Talk they are complaining that the 4R gets a rear locker and they don't. Probably don't realize we've had rear lockers available all along!

Saw that to and had a god laugh. It is disappointing they didn't put a locker in the Tundra though. Would have loved to have one in mine when I had it.

Love the 4Runner and Tacoma, especially the 4Runner. It's funny how "Toyota" across the front dramatically improves the look of the 14's. I could live with 2014 TRD front.

SC as a dealer option is a lot different from a factory installed feature. You might want to learn to recognize some levity. I hear the next one will come with either a V8 or a turbo diesel as a dealer option!!!11!!1! :wave:

Dealer option is all I care about. I already own a 4runner.

Toyota is developing a S/C for the 4runner. That is a fact. Release dates, availability, or anything else for that matter is pure speculation. How many of you knew a "TRD Pro" was being released? No one with inside knowledge is speaking.

I am not holding my breath. I don't think its feasible to finish/release this product given the sales of 4Runner and the death of FJ.

Me thinks you guys have your elitist undies on too tight. It’s good to remember that the modders here represent about .001% of 4R owners so we need to fight the urge to see everything via our tunnel vision.

I for one applaud Toyota. Trucks look good. The Mods are more than respectable and should appeal to a much larger segment of buyers, who I will welcome with open arms out on the trails.

I think it's pretty cool for a factory package. Not perfect, but easily the most hard-core 4runner ever sold from a dealer.

I think Toyota made a wise choice here. Many of us on this forum have the necessary skills and or money to customize our rigs. However, there are many out there that want something other than stock and don't know where to begin or are afraid to do anything out of fear of voiding their warranty.

Meh ... half the people on this site have built more capable rigs. Toyota is trying to soak up the bolt-on aftermarket business, rather than reengineering a complete vehicle or investing in the development of more significant modifications, such as engines, transmissions or a truly redesigned suspension. Of the three, Taco, Tundra and 4Runner, the 4Runner is the worst looking. I can't decide if it looks weird or is just ugly. In any event, I think I know what inspired the design.
