vehicle has arrived at long beach port. from the picture of the black one provided in this thread, it looks like lots of port installed equipment. wonder how long this is gonna be before it's delivered (i'm in denver)? 2 weeks? 4 weeks?
also, the dealer has confirmed MSRP pricing. total price before tax is $41,460.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like it's the same or cheaper to build the same vehicle with a trail prem w/o kdss (Assuming a discount from msrp)

Didn't know that the seats aren't softex - I think that just about does it for me.
As far as the suspension goes, it appears I'm mistaken - I thought it was on the TRD Pro parts thread but upon taking a 2nd look somebody posted about a Tacoma shock. Guess we'll wait and see..

It's definitely Softex. The truck is essentially a TEP w/ no sunroof, and the bilstein suspension but no KDSS. It also has the different Grille, which might be hard to get one as Toyota is fairly tight with their replacements and requires a valid VIN. The MSRP on my TEP w/ KDSS was $41,900, and the TRD Pro without any extra "add-ons" is $41,110. That's a factory options only comparison of the two if you figure that the KDSS is a factory direct option, and the TRD Pro package automatically comes with the order. Price will only go up from there if you add things like All Weather Mats, Crossbars, Etc. It is absolutely going to be a preference thing when deciding on these. Super White and Inferno Red will stand out the most with the exterior, because the Attitude Black as I posted is really just all black and one who didn't know couldn't tell the difference. As I stated before, I'm pretty set on White, but the more and more I see the black one here waiting for parts, the more I like it. Though, just for color comparison, we had a couple Taco's go through with the Inferno Red, and it makes you second guess once more what color to go with.

Meaning bad - I was hoping to at least have some type of resemblance of a 'leather' interior.
My understanding of the 2015 Product Literature released on monday is that the exterior of the Pro is based of the TEP & the "interior" is based off of the TE. (Hence no sunroof)
I think it was also mentioned on Page 73 of this thread that its essentially a TE with springs & shocks.
Not trying to be a PITA here - just trying to figure out what I'm about to order!
I'm also pretty much set on White but can't get Inferno out of the back of my mind.

LOTS of Port installed equipment. Pretty much everything is! Your wait depends on alot of things, but I would be beyond excited if I were you if you get it in October. For our location, we have about a two week delay on ships because of Japanese Holidays. We got one Pro on the last ship, but they should start coming on ships in another week or so. Also, you have to factor in your dealer's allocation from the distributor, which I believe is LOS or TMS. If the dealership is a high volume dealer and posts good numbers, they may have had first dibs on one. And lastly, there can be a dependency on parts availability. Since mostly everything is installed at the Port, if the Parts team doesn't have the right stuff on order, or TMS can't provide them (it happens), then the vehicle will just sit at the Port until the parts come in. Its really kind of a hybrid , It's based on the trail not the premium, it is listed in press release "TRD Pro in addition to or replace of trail standard features"
But it has softex and navigation , but It has no sunroof or puddle lamps from the premium

Yep, that $41,110 was also the base MSRP on my Vspec. Mine will come with the factory installed rear cargo tray ($350), and I will be adding a few dealer installed options (floormats, cargo cover and net, and crossbars) at dealer cost.
I went with the super white. As you said, I felt the black all blended together too much, not enough contrast and felt the Inferno was a little too loud.
Dealer said 8-12 weeks before delivery, but I suspect he may merely be trying to hedge his bets and under promise and over deliver.
