The suspension, wheels, tires, badges are all port installed. Look back a few pages for pictures of what they look like right off the boat, just a base trail with different seats.

They should have it 100% done tomorrow so yes I'll have the skid plate. Bilstein's and TRD springs are Port installed, and the "factory" shocks/springs, well CrackisWack would find those in the dumpster with the steelies. I think if you got bored with the all black, definitely red TRD Pro badges(dare I say plastidip).We even through out the idea of red plastidip in place of where there is flat black on the front middle and rear. Also remembered someone inquiring about the flakes in the Attitude Black, very wet day in Jax, and I don't think the flakes are overly noticeable.

JM...out of curiosity what are the qualifications of the folks installing all this stuff at the port? Any difference in quality than if it was installed in Japan? Any idea of how things work at the SF port; i.e., time from arrival in SF to shipping to dealer? Thanks!

A 7" rim is fine for those tires.
No way I can snag one, sorry. Actually love my job. That is an XSP-X Tacoma. Distributor installed package for dealer purchase in the Southeast region. I'm sure that your region has something similar that dealers can add on. Maybe not as cool though, jk. Our New Products team for Southeast Toyota is pretty killer. They're young, and possibly have one of the coolest jobs in the company. As for qualifications of our installers, they vary based on experience, but all of them are certified to install individual things. Some are certified to install everything. Plus there is install documentation on everything and before a new vehicle/ product gets added, one of our Training Specialists has to go through the install thoroughly with the installer. Then every vehicle is inspected for accuracy/ quality with I believe it is a 52 (don't quote this) point inspection before being shipped to the dealer :thumb:. The dealer would then be responsible for any further looks.
So where would one find these dumpsters the wheels and stock parts go in, if one were so inclined to look??

Sounds like that's what they do... I would love to pick up a full set of dumped steelies, and some suspension pieces...
Not technically with the trash, but metal with metal, recycle with recycle, etc. Take-off tires can be purchased cheaply by employees, but if not there is a deal with a vendor who takes them. But yes, I was shocked to see the guys just throw the stock shocks and springs into a parts only trash bin. Also see some exhausts too for other vehicles. I can't get this TRDPro together, and won't ship until next week because of.... The tire warranty documentation. Vendor did not send with the tires :mmph: And so it still sits. Oh, and no matching spare...

So this is pretty much your final look. I must say that the Black did a total 180 on me, and it looks freakin awesome. Personally I like the little bit of flakes in the paint, because it will be shiny when/ if clean. Moved the truck from one shop to the other, down and up a small hill and minor road travel. Felt comparable to my KDSS, but not much of a test. However, I had no idea the leveling would make the feel of the ride height that much different, but it does feel a little higher. Congrats to those who have one waiting, and good luck to those of you still on the fence and your decision. looking forward to seeing who decides on what. King Noob - The spare is not a Nitto, just the standard spare.
