I put $500 down late September 2014. I negotiated $1500 off MSRP and they're throwing in a couple extras. All other dealers around here were either at MSRP or 500 off. None were above MSRP.
Hopefully mine will be here by the end of the month.
I also ordered mine with the sliding cargo tray but my sales guy told me that all Infernos sent to the area are being built without them.
Still confused on that. If I ordered it with it, how could it come without?

For the record, you will hear the random good deals here. BUT the higher percentage are not going to pipe in and say they paid: close to MSRP, MSRP, or above MSRP

Paid MSRP for my white one. Got an offer for $1500 over invoice for a Pro in AZ, but after TTL would have been close to the same as me buying my white one for MSRP because taxes in AZ are almost 9%.
I ended up paying about $43 k out the door + extended warranty through Toyota and a clear bra.
I bought mine in UT where taxes are 6.xx%

i think it more to show just how many didn't, therefore future buyers can shop with the confidence of knowing this before some salesman spews BS on them about how you won't find it at and much less at below msrp....like they did with me at every Cali dealer. thankfully i knew better

When I bought mine, I used the same dealer I bought my '12 SR5 from. They agreed to sell it to me at invoice if they were able to locate it. Unfortunately, at the time, Super White Trails in any trim besides standard were in short supply and high demand, so they weren't able to do a dealer trade for any of the vehicles in the region. Since they couldn't do a inventory trade, they ended up telling me where all three of the Super White TRDP's were in the state. One was in LA (a base model with no options), and the other wouldn't budge on MSRP since it hadn't hit their lot yet.
Ended up getting the one locally, and after lots of haggling they matched the sticker on the non-optioned TRDP, so I saved about $1500 off sticker. Still wasn't the deal I wanted, but there was no way I was paying MSRP on it.
I did a fair amount of calling around (even calling a dealer in AZ at one point), but no one on this side of the US wanted to sell under MSRP.
Ended up getting the one locally, and after lots of haggling they matched the sticker on the non-optioned TRDP, so I saved about $1500 off sticker. Still wasn't the deal I wanted, but there was no way I was paying MSRP on it.

Back to an older topic. My MPG blows compared to my 10' Limited 4Runner. Same driving I have always done, 80%ish highway. Combined average 18.1 mpg in Limited and getting 16.2 mpg in TRDP. WTF!
I was even running Nitto 275/55's on 20's with my Limited!
Whatever...but not happy about this one fact with the TRDP.
Toyota had to of changed something for it to be this drastic of a difference.

I've posted several times in other threads about this. My 2014 SR5 that I've had for over a year averages around 16-17 mpg, and my 2010 averaged around 19. Same drivetrain, same conditions.

Just put a deposit down on an inferno and I paid slightly above MSRP.
Felt like getting bent over but no one in CA is making any deals.

Front suspension sound
It was 8 degrees last night and when I started driving most bumps I hit the clunk sound from the front end was very evident. It sounds like there is something loose or something hitting another part (Sorry for the non-technical description)I haven't taken it to the dealer yet but its very annoying from a vehicle with less than 1500 miles on it and it definitely is more noticeable in colder weather.
I remember others hearing the same thing. If anyone has any updates on this or has figured it out please post. I am wondering if the TE has this issue too or is this only a TRDP thing.

My 2010 LE averaged 18.1 and I was thinking my TRD Pro would be similar since I lost aerodynamics and road tires but went from full-time 4wd to part-time (mostly no time so far other than my 10 miles/mo for my first month). I'm at 16.6. Not sure when the winter gas started or how much that contributes, but not counting on a big uptick when things thaw out. On the plus side, it cost me < $40 to fill up with current gas prices vs. a high of >$80 at the peak!
Looks awesome. What size spacers are those? Also, everyone else with a TRD Pro out there don't be shy on posting pictures, I have to live through you guys until mine comes in :thumb3:
Is it your drivers side that's higher? From what I've read this is to compensate for the drivers side weight from both the driver and gas tank.

It is official my truck was born today! Amazes me how fast it can be done especially since I have been at for a few days turning my FJ back to normal.though, many breaks and limited my time outside. I am in the mountains but man I thought I left Colorado bitter cold behind!

That doesnt seem right. Took way long to get to the states. Man mine will be at the port at the end of the month as of right now. Then I worked out with the port to a dealer in Jacksonville fl so it is fast and I can visit my family while down there. Especialy my aging grandmother.
SET says average from Japan to Port is 4-6weeks. Most liekly in processing for about a week at SET then to dealer. So say 5-8weeks from manufacturer to dealer.

Similar to me. But why? My buddy has a 2014 SR5 and is getting 18.2 mpg and drives less highway than me. I will give some credit to the crappy tires he's running stock. BUT my LE had the same Nitto tires as TRDP but bigger 275's vs the 245's OEM's. Literally, almost a 2 mpg difference. Sure there are little nuances that make differences, but not 2 mpg IMHO. Something has to of changed, especially, since it am not the only one. Just sayin...
For me it's more about filling up more frequently than the dollars it cost. I would enjoy an additional 40 miles per tank I am missing now.
