4runner TRD Pro

Wish I had. There was a link to it on the dealer site, but they took it down after it was sold. It had TRD wheels, 3 inch lift, medal bumpers (gray), winch in front ... They had it for almost a year and I thought I could talk them down quite a bit. When I started the process, someone bought it for list. Crazy!

It was the coolest FJ I have seen.

Krazy priced, and OH..........................the person that bought it for listed 50K!

Yep. That is what the sales rep told me. He said "it is the last FJ we will EVER have." I am sure they used that as positioning to the person they sold it to. Worked out well for me as I ended up with my 4Runner.

Just heard my White TRD Pro will be arriving sometime this week. I'm told it is in Houston getting ready to ship up here to Tulsa.

What is interesting about this is, the dealer has a TON of used FJ's right now. When I was there last they had at least 5 if not 7 of 'em. Granted they are all used, but some had like 5,000 miles on them. I mentioned it to my rep and he said now that they are discontinued, they've been flooded with them. I had two of them and I loved them both. Can't wait to see the TRD in person this week though!

Installed TE roof rails and cross bars today. Had gone round and round with what I wanted to do - paint the originals, new roof rack, but glad with how my final decision turned out.

Love the look! I have white pro and have toyed with this idea. Is it a simple even swap or are there any modifications you have to make? Also how much was the rack / where did you purchase it if you don't mind me asking? Feel free to pm me. Thanks

Just got my Attitude Black TRD Pro this weekend, already got the mod bug.... Just received the Focal speakers to replace the front and rear , I just couldn't handle how horrible the stock system sounds.

Ordered the 3M Satin Black film to black out the rails as well...

Any thoughts on what to do next?

I have a 2015 TE and my roof rails look NOTHING like that. Was that a dealer purchase or did you get those off another member? LOOKS FANTASTIC!

Thanks! They were OEM on 2010-2013 TE models. I purchased from [MENTION=29376]sandcrawler[/MENTION] through the classifieds on here.

You need to order four brackets if yours doesn't come with them: part no. 63185-42020. Mine came with the bolts so I didn't have to worry about those, but my dealer was no help in sourcing the mastic washers they used on the original installation so I used silicone. I have zero mechanical ability and was able to do this. That said, my silicone job has not been tested by the rain yet. Hopefully I'll have no issues!

I ordered a FJ rack hardware kit from Amazon. I'll have to look up the part number but it had all the bolts and washers needed for the swap to the TE rack.
The brackets I bought from an online Toyota parts site. It was like $30 for all the hardware and brackets.

I saw that one, but it looked like it had only the round mastic washers whereas the installation instructions said use oval ones for the back. I thought about ordering and trying to make due after trying to explain the difference to the dealer, but said screw it and tried the silicone.

They made a 2013 FJ TTSE in "Cement Grey" as pictured....ask me how I know!

Everything fit just fine on mine. The FJ rack uses more bolts so it had extras too.

Hey [MENTION=126006]Tonka TRD[/MENTION], you don't happen to live out in the Loudoun area do you? I saw a new Black TRDP yesterday on my way home on Rt7, which is the first one I have seen out on the roads in that area. This one was on Rt 7 headed towards Leesburg and I was headed toward Winchester in my Inferno. Just curious is all.

On another note, I hate that rail color so I am also interested to see what your outcome is with the wrap on them when it's finished. Welcome to the site.

I have the Xpel kit on mine, so far so good. Full bumper, half fenders and hood. Got the headlights, A-pillars, and roof cap as well.

Who did the work and what did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I have it n all our cars and plan to add it to the Pro when it gets here. Thanks

Had that done to mine, worth it and it's hard to notice it's even on there at all. Just protecting leading edges and most of the front of the car.

Just got my black Pro back from a local detailer. Had them do a paint correction and apply the CQuartz Finest ceramic paint coating. Also had him take off the terrible, stock running boards. It looks amazing -- this color is so beautiful in direct sun light with the blue/metallic fleck when it's polished to perfection. I'll take some pics later -- it's getting ready to storm here.
