Ordered a Pro on 4/42015 and was told 8-10 weeks for delivery. Currently @ 15 weeks and STILL no vehicle delivery. It's at the port in Houston since July 3rd and is still under inspection. Hoping it will make it to the dealership by next week.
Anyone else had this kind of wait times?

Wait times may be getting longer but that is excessive. Have they given you a VIN? They probably don't actually have one allocated to them and may be hoping to somehow get one. Ask for a VIN.

I definitely will offroad and love the rock rails. Thanks for the suggestion!
What are your intentions? Are you going to offroad? If you are, I'd suggest having them remove the running boards so you're not paying the rediculous up charge on those. You can buy rock rails for a lot cheaper and they will offer protection.
My dealership wouldn't remove mine because it was a truck on the lot. You may still have a chance since you're ordering yours.
This is just something that if I could change, I would. Hope it helps.

Spacer lift
I went with 1/4 Toytec Spacer lift because I still wanted just a hair of rake because I tow our trailer/dirt bikes etc. and didn't want to be nose high all that time. When it has a full tank of gas it's darn near level but not quit. The spacer kit I have is the one some people use to off set the Toyota lean that happens sometimes. Two of these-
Front Top Plate Spacer (One - 1/4")
No problems with this little spacer lift at all. No complaints and I think it looks good.
Others have the other lift and look great as well. I think most have reported no problems.

I saw that when I did mine. Very odd way to classify it(1/4) but it works so I guess that's all that matters. I will be honest. I did not measure anything before or after but visually it did give it a lift but I couldn't tell you how much. I just call it a hair below level and perfect when towing our dirt bikes to the trails.

The main changes for the 2016 TRD Pro is the introduction of two new paint colors in lieu of inferno and altitude black which will both be discontinued. Super White will remain.
"2016 4Runner TRD Pro will be available in Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic and
Quicksand (replaces Inferno). Magnetic Gray Metallic availability may vary at start of
production."

Expedition Overlands Ep2
Here is the second episode putting their 5th Gen 4runners to the test. They also meet up with TRD lead design engineer, Ted Moncure. Its interesting that this heavily sponsored Toyota series with TRD engineers showcased, chose to go with Trail Ed's with KDSS and opted for an ICON Stage 7 suspension. They did go with the TRDP rims with 285's.
Going to talk to RMS off-road here on LI about a possible future upgrade. Maybe not Stage 7's and the heavy springs since I don't carry even close to the amount of gear as these guys, but like the stance and the 285's.

This is my 2015 Trd Pro the day I picked it up from the dealer. Paid msrp. But Got a good deal on my trade in "jeep Rubicon". Had to drive 2 hours into PA to get my truck. Only dealer in my area "jersey" that had one in stock wanted. 7500.00 ! over list! I told him to go f$^$ himself. When I was finalizing the deal in Pa, they had the nerve to call me and ask me if I changed my mind! It felt great to Tell him not only was I getting the truck for msrp, but they also gave me $1500 more for my trade then they offered me. Love this truck!

Pulled into a spot in Home Depot and there was a Limited in front of me. Took out my measuring tape and compared the front fender height from the ground and the delta was 1.25" higher for my TRDP. Honestly, it's really not noticeable unless you measure it.
Didn't get a chance to measure the back but it didn't look like 2" higher as someone else suggested.
