2017 will still be a fifth gen. The TRD pro 4runner will be available in cement, red and white.Seeing this makes it hard for me to wait on the 6th gen that isn't even a for sure for 2017.

Noise coming from the roof console
Is somebody hearing a squeaking noise coming from the center roof console where multi-terrain controls are? I noticed the noise while I'm driving on a NOT perfect road. It feels very solid, like maybe the wiring harness is lose or something...????

Just ordered mine yesterday 2 1/2 - 3 month wait. I also will be getting a white trd pro. Did u get anything on it that didn't come standard?

I have a 2016, with the same issue and it starts at 40 degrees and gets worse as it gets cold. Any idea on how to fix this?

Hello All, first time poster here. Just a quick opinion from all the TRD Pro owners here. I put down a deposit for a 2016 TRD Pro, and was all set to get a Super White once the dealership received it.
I just got a call from the dealership saying that someone who had ordered a Magnetic Gray backed out and that has become available now. I really had my eye on the Super White, but wanted to know others opinions on the MGM? I'm trying to see if it's worth passing on and waiting for the Super White to eventually come in or just go with the MGM.
Any opinions would be much appreciated!

It shouldn't really matter what we think, which one do you like better? But since you asked, I personally think 4runners look the best in mag gray. It's the only color I'd consider trading my inferno for.
I am waiting on my magnetic grey TRD to arrive within the next week or two. The dealer has a white one that is already sold on the lot. To be honest, they are both great. I don't think you could go wrong with either. However, I wouldn't settle if your not sure. It could bother you for years to come.
I really wanted white but the dealers weren't being to friendly and wanted to charge me both kidneys and a lung to get super white. Obviously I need my organs so a dealer had a mag grey coming in and sold it at Msrp so I took it. Honestly it is really nice and im super stoked with how it looks. I would still like white but grey is pretty closely tied imo. Also something I ran into was dealers kept telling me they couldn't order a specific color, they could only request it but it wasn't guaranteed to be that color. To me it didn't make sense to wait all that time for something not guaranteed. You may want to check on that as well.

My 2016 TRD Pro, Super White came in yesterday and I picked it up.
Ordered on September 11th, 2015.
Dealership devalued my trade from what they originally offered - $32,400 down to $28500 while I waited.
Ended up paying more than I wanted.
Owed $28000 on my trade.
Ended up paying $42000 out the door, TT&L.

Yeah, that's what the dealer told me as well. That they can make the request to Toyota, but in the end it's not the dealers choice. Don't know how true that is, but that is what I was told regarding any dealer installed options as well.
That was one thing I was considering, if I pass this one up, and wait for the next one to come in, it's possible it be another MGM. I do like how the MGM is pretty close to black, and seems to look a little more aggressive. Plus it seems to be one of the more rare colors out there for TRD Pro's

When I originally ordered the Pro that they supposedly had for me it was going to come with remote start and round flat black side steps (Both items I did not want) but since they were already part of the package they gave me a deal on them. When the Pro came in, it did not have the steps and remote start. But it had the cross bars for the roof rack, rear cargo slide cover, and the slide out rear cargo tray all for the same price we previously discussed. After talking to my salesman and explaining to him what we originally made a deal on we also ended up getting the side steps and remote start at no extra charge.

Get your first choice and do not settle. I'm sure you could have purchased a white Trail by now too and put on the Pro bits, but you didn't. Don't compromise. It's worth the wait.
